Welcome to Grants Pass Garden Club, a haven for gardening enthusiasts like you!
Since the beginning, the Grants Pass Garden Club has welcomed new members who are interested in learning about gardening and sharing the love of gardening with others.
Join our vibrant community of like-minded individuals and embark on an exciting journey through the diverse landscapes of the Rogue Valley.
Participate in a variety of garden and community-related activities tailored to inspire and enrich your gardening experience. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out, our club provides opportunities for everyone to learn, grow, and cultivate a deeper understanding of the natural world. Garden tours, workshops, and get-togethers give life to the proverb "Friends are the flowers in the garden of life."
And we're not just about plants and flowers. Our commitment extends beyond our garden gates. Engage in meaningful volunteer opportunities and support our community fund raising efforts, making a positive impact on the world around us. As a member, you'll have the chance to volunteer and witness the collective power of our green-thumbed community.
Hello. My name is Nena Heitz. I am the current President of Grants Pass Garden Club, Inc.
I am very excited about our Club and all the wonderful things we do. I am inviting you to come to one of our meetings at the Fruitdale Grange in Grants Pass. the first Wednesday of the month (except for January when we meet on the 2nd Wednesday).
In our Club, we consider ourselves a Community of like minded people who cares about plants –
flowers, trees, fruits and vegetables, as well as each other. We do our best to not only make our
meetings educational, we try to make them fun!
We have speakers, both from the outside and Club members. We have special events like our Annual Plant and Garden Sale and a Christmas Boutique, as well as hosting the Floral Room at the Josephine County Fair. We go on tours of nurseries and gardens. We share in 4 potlucks a year during our meetings, have question and answer sessions so we can learn from each other’s experiences, do Dig and Divides of plants, and share our profits with other non-profits in the community, as well as offering scholarships to college age students and helping younger kids with school plant projects.
Stop by and “get to know us while we’re getting to know you.”
The Grants Pants Garden Club's fundraisers support many local and statewide organizations. We are committed to building a better community and your support of our plant sales, holiday boutique and other fundraisers is very much appreciated.
We love visitors, so feel free to visit us at our next meeting held at 12 Noon on the first Wednesday (except January when we meet on the 2nd Wednesday) of the month at the Fruitdale Grange, Grants Pass
